Our Hotel has 36 rooms including four 2-room suites. Rooms are individually decorated with vintage furnishings and appointments, which are always changing as guests and antique enthusiasts purchase our pieces for their own collections. All our rooms offer: phone, cable TV, private 3/4 or full bath and continental breakfast.

Part of the history of this hotel, opened in 1886, includes visits by the tragic and well-known "Baby Doe" Tabor who lived alone at the famous "Matchless Mine."

HORSEBACK RIDES: Our one hour ride takes you on trails often used by deer and elk. You'll see views of Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert and enjoy the beauty of our mountain wildflowers. As you ride on this scenic trail you may wish to close your eyes for a moment, listen to the squeak of the saddles and think of riding here 120 years ago as the people did who settled Leadville.
